Theatre Alumni Collaborate With Chris Marshall

Chris Marshall, Director of Performing Arts and Upper Division Theatre, has been collaborating with Berkeley alumni on a variety of projects.

 

  • Marshall directed alumna Anna Roman ’18 as Romeo in his professional New York production of “Romeo + Juliet” with Sketchbook Theatre in the summer of 2024. Roman is earning a Master of Fine Arts at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale (Class of 2025).
  • He invited Jess Kaliban ’12 to speak to Upper Division students about her career as an actor living in NYC. Kaliban earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
  • He taught a master class on Shakespeare in Performance to Alexis Carra Girbés’ ’99 and her classmates in an Acting 3 class at the University of South Florida.
